Poulsbo: Rise of the Trash Pandas!

Or: “How No Good Deed Goes Unpunished!”

So the story is actually from 7 Oct0ber 2024, but…

Excerpting from the KOMO News story:

“KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — A woman living near Poulsbo’s home was recently invaded by over 100 raccoons last week.

The woman said she’s been feeding raccoons in the area for almost four decades, but on Oct. 3, she was surrounded by the animals and contacted authorities for help.

Kitsap County deputies eventually came to her rescue after she was forced to run away in her car to escape the raccoons, according to Kitsap County.”

Apparently she had been feeding the feral raccoons for some 35 years and now they have become very accustomed to being fed on a regular basis… screenshot and link below —
